Giving Back
I am the Marketing Director and a Trustee at the Kileva Foundation, a charity formed locally that helps to provide educational support to children and parents in the poorest villages of Kenya. I was introduced to the small volunteer-run charity by a good friend and I really liked the story of how it was formed and the commitment of trustees and the transparency of their work and funding.
As an executive coach at the Marketing Academy, I coach future marketing leaders through their 9-month scholarship programme. So far I have worked with young leaders from Arsenal FC, British Airways, Funding Circle, Nice Agency, The Princes Trust and Unicef.
I am the Ambassador for the Maidenhead "FORE" Business Networking Group, based at Winter Hill Golf Course. The "FORE" Business network is for business owners to combine their love of golf with business networking.
The networking group has helped me to both grow my business and give me the time I need away from the business to think strategically and share ideas with a great group of people.
I have supported the Maidenhead Rowing Club for the last 3 years helping to build partnerships and promote the club. The rowing club is a volunteer-run sports club and now has a thriving community of 14 business partners each adding a different flavour of support, whilst promoting their business locally.
